First post..

This is the intended space for some pictures, work-in-progress shots and general ponderings about miniature gaming in general and my own plastic guys in particular. As the name implies, I'm mainly playing a Bad Moons Space Ork army in Warhammer 40k. It's by no means finished - although I did rack up a nomination for best painted at the one large convention it's been to and top points in painting at a smaller con. I like it OK - so much more that could be done, but it's taken quite a bit of time already so we'll just see what happens. I found that the modelling inspiration for Ork players out there is kind of limited, so that's one of the things I hope to improve by this blog.

Current projects include a Leman Russ, looted, plus a Mortis dreadnaught, also looted. I hate to bring a Russ to the battlefield - everyone + dog seems to do it - but it could be a good thing to bring against my colleagues. They play rather competitive armies and my usual list isn't one of those. Will post pics. Shall also get my thumb outta my butt and get decent pics of my already finished minis. Want some shots just in case someone would walk off with the Army Transport or somesuch..
